The Panigale V4 project fully represents the uniqueness of a brand that works to ensure that everything designed for racing can then be transferred to motorcycles intended for enthusiasts. The Panigale V4 is loaded with top-end features too long to list here. It simply sets a new standard for sportbikes. The aural and physical assault the Panigale gives you is pretty special because it's a rocketship. Fortunately it's a really well-behaved, well-managed rocketship. It has a strong bottom end that flows straight into a strong mid-range, and then it has a top end that the space shuttle would be proud of. But, if it's too much of a 'rocket', you can switch to one of the two lesser engine maps, which tames it to mere mortal levels of power. But it's the sexy Italian styling that adds genuine panache to the riding experience that makes Panigale ownership so desirable and satisfying.

Upgrading from the previous model the pivot of the single-sided aluminum swingarm is positioned 4 mm higher, raised power to 215.5 hp at 13,000 rpm and new SBK gearbox with lengthened I, II and VI gears, the seat and tank have been redesigned to maximise the rider's performance and minimise the physical effort required for track riding plus New Engine Brake Control EVO 2 software that improves stability, precision and directionality in braking and corner entry. Smooth shifting also improved thanks to the new DQS.
